Supply Chain Supervisor
Initial Assignment – Kingston Health Sciences Centre
Shared Support Services Southeastern Ontario (3SO), a not-for-profit organization that operates an integrated supply chain management system for six member hospitals in the Southeast LHIN.
As a member of the 3SO supply chain management team, the Supply Chain Supervisor is responsible for the efficient and effective management of the day to day flow of materials to/from/within the Hospitals. This will involve providing the daily leadership and management necessary to achieve excellence at the member Hospital organizations.
These services must be provided in a manner consistent with the goals and objectives, policies and procedures of 3SO and hospitals. This role will also involve providing oversight/support/relief to 3SO management positions at other equity member hospital(s). Travel will be required throughout South East Ontario.
• Community College diploma in Business related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
• Four (4) years recent experience in a supervisory/management role, preferably in a large automated unionized purchasing/logistics oriented organization.
• Excellent communication skills (oral, written, presentation, group); with strong problem-solving, interpersonal and customer relations skills.
• A satisfactory Criminal Reference Check is required.
