March 16, 2006 – Health Care Network of Southeastern Ontario (HSCNSEO) completes and submits a business case to OntarioBuys seeking funding to carry out an evaluation of the potential for regional integration of support services across five areas including – Supply Chain Management (iSCM), Human Resources, Information Services, Laboratory, and Pharmacy.
June 6, 2006 – OntarioBuys and Quinte Health Care (QHC), acting as the executive sponsor on behalf of the HCNSEO, sign a transfer payment agreement to fund the evaluation of regional integration support services for the project.
November 30, 2007 – The final report is accepted by member hospitals and is finalized and submitted to OntarioBuys along with a revised business case.
January 16, 2008 – 3SO is registered as a not-for-profit corporation.
March 30, 2008 – OntarioBuys signs a transfer payment agreement to fund the supply chain integration project.
April 7, 2008 – 3SO interim board is dissolved and the permanent board is created.
August 18, 2008 – Lyndon Smith, hired by the 3SO board as the General Manager for 3SO, starts work at 3SO.
September 21, 2009 – Kingston General Hospital is the first hospital on boarded to the 3SO “Just in Time” regional integrated supply chain and procurement model.
January 11, 2010 – Providence Care becomes the second hospital on boarded to the 3SO “Just in Time” regional integrated supply chain and procurement model.
April 12, 2010 – Brockville General Hospital becomes the third hospital on boarded to the 3SO “Just in Time” regional integrated supply chain and procurement model.
October 04, 2010 – Quinte Health Care Corporation becomes the fourth hospital on boarded to the 3SO “Just in Time” regional integrated supply chain and procurement model.
February 14, 2011 – Hotel Dieu Hospital becomes the fifth hospital on boarded to the 3SO “Just in Time” regional integrated supply chain and procurement model.
June 20, 2011 – Perth and Smiths Falls Hospitals becomes the sixth hospital on boarded to the 3SO “Just in Time” regional integrated supply chain and procurement model.
January 23, 2012 – Lennox and Addington County General Hospital becomes the seventh and final hospital on boarded to the 3SO “Just in Time” regional integrated supply chain and procurement model.
